The Lord did this so that all the peoples of the earth might know that the hand of the Lord is powerful and so that you might always fear the Lord your God. Joshua 4:24

The hand of the Lord is always active in our lives. He is the one who daily saves and guides us. He shelters us from the storms of life and permits only what He wants to use to build our relationship with Him. The Lord constantly extends the hand of friendship by intervening for our good and our growth. Nothing can stop or deter the hand of the Lord from accomplishing its designated purpose.

His purposes impact every area of our walk with Him. We can expect this hand of friendship to be with us just for the asking. Our Savior Jesus Christ is such a willing and kind friend. This kind of steadfast love stirs up awe and wonder in our hearts.
