HUGS AND KISSES…..
…. from God. While we are in our earthen vessels and our earth suits, it is hard to experience the affections of God. In this time of constant testing, challenge and trial, we may feel it is necessary for us to be strongly independent to survive. We can easily feel often lonely, lost and left out. Jealousy comes as an accusation and betrayal to cause us to guard our hearts. Love, tenderness and kindness are qualities that produce suspicion and fear in the world. God‘s secret remedy for this is the hugs and kisses father God gives us.
These hugs and kisses are uniquely designed and given to each person. In this, we see the majesty, love and creativity of God for us. These precious gifts are given to his precious children. The evil one, in his desperation, tries to keep us from receiving God‘s tender love and affections. We need to make a decision to be open to receiving this affection on a daily basis.
A kiss or hug does not mean much unless we decide to receive them. God‘s hugs and kisses to his children encompass many categories. Examples of these hugs and kisses would be a sunny day, a smile and touch from a newborn baby, an answered prayer, the payment of a debt, the faithfulness of a friend, a good belly laugh, a humorous surprise, a sudden inspiration or wisdom, a lifting of a burden, a feeling of peace or safety, our favorite food or dessert, having an obstacle removed, being able to do something we love to do and feelings of joy or gratitude.
All these and many more are ways that God gives us hugs and kisses. As we receive these things from God, our emotional lives become richer and more fulfilling. Maybe we can take time to make our own list of hugs and kisses from God. Then we can make a decision to identify and receive these hugs and kisses every day. Then we can learn to teach ourselves to seek out and discover God‘s hugs and kisses.

MERCY
Mercy is God’s answer to a tidal wave of shame, guilt, condemnation, and sin. Mercy is one of the main faces of the Holy Spirit as he does his work for God’s Son Jesus. Mercy is the washing away of the filth and sin of mankind.
Mercy helps to mend, heal and save human relationships. Mercy helps us to try again when we have no strength to do so. Mercy can work through all human senses so we can have merciful eyes, merciful ears, and merciful touch. Every believer has the capacity to be a vessel and warrior of mercy. It is God‘s design that the mercy we give to others will come back to us.
Mercy builds community and strengthens society and nations. Mercy opens the door so righteousness can flow. Mercy dances with Grace so that we can realize the greatness of God. It is God alone that fills our cups and lives with mercy. Giving and receiving mercy is a survival skill that gives us liberty and freedom.
We must continue to ask God to fill us with mercy as we live in a jungle of treachery and treason. May we let Mercy embrace us until we are brought home to see face of God.

KINDNESS
I have made a covenant with kindness towards My children because it is the greatest desire of my heart. This is so important to Me that I have placed a desire to give and receive kindness in all those who know Me. I will never stop being kind to you, especially when you need it the most.
My children must wear their spiritual armor, partnered with kindness to synergize warfare against the enemy. Kindness paralyzes and confuses the enemy. Kindness opens the door to the glory of God. Kindness softens the heart for love to lead them to salvation. I have placed a pathway of kindness in all My children’s lives. It is their choice if they follow it. Each and every kind deed is recorded by the angels in heaven. Every kind deed brings joy in heaven because it is the desire of my heart.
Kindness is like a sweet, soft song that pulls, prepares and perpetuates people into the kingdom of God. Father God has appointed you to live out a life of kindness. His kindness is a song of devotion to you. Kindness is God‘s antidote for this cruel and selfish world. Kindness can be measured and weighed in so many different ways and will bring you many Rewards in heaven. What will you decide to do with this great call and gift from God?

FIREWORKS
This is a time of fireworks, but your fireworks are just a shadow of My fireworks. My fireworks change atmospheres and lives. My fireworks do more than illuminate. My fireworks destroy the darkness. My fireworks bring justice and restitution and freedom. My fireworks create new energy and pathways. My fireworks open new doors. My fireworks create new steps. My fireworks birth new thoughts, plans and dreams. My fireworks are pure power and have creative power.
This is what I am preparing for you. I have created for you your own personal fireworks from me. They are unique and designed to shatter and destroy all resistance and opposition to the evil one. My fireworks produce glory for Myself, and I give my glory to you because you are my servant and child. For, I have already inscripted it before all time. Remember the fireworks. The time will come when you will not be able to forget them.

PEACE
Peace is a gift or agent by which all God‘s other gifts and communications are most clearly heard and experienced. Peace is like a giant antenna in the spirit that attracts what God wants to say, and to do.
The enemy is constantly wanting to rob our peace because it causes disruption and chaos in our relationship with God and people. Our prayers are a beautiful song and call to God, which helps to create the environment for peace. The more we pray, the more peace we are likely to acquire. Peace blossoms when we surrender to what God is telling us. Peace is the guardian and the watchmen over the world of God. Peace is a powerful tool of evangelism that quietly draws us to the heart of the Father. Peace is a powerful spiritual offensive weapon that routes the evil one from our presence.
Peace prospers as we read and hear the Word of God. Peace is like a deep well that is a sanctuary for us in times of trouble. Peace increases our ability to rejoice and celebrate our relationship with God. Peace is like a friendly and loving hand that helps us to know the depth of God’s character and love for us. Of all the gifts of God, peace is perhaps the most crucial because it gives us the chance to grow in faith. Peace deepens as we develop our relationship with Jesus Christ. Peace is a shining light in a dark world. Jesus’ peace is the foundation of our spiritual house because he is the Prince of Peace. Having peace is a much greater and more excellent treasure than all the riches of the world. The wise person is the one who seeks peace, calls it their own, and applies to every situation.

FAITH
Without faith, it is impossible to please God. Faith is like the steering wheel that leads us into God‘s will. Lack of faith brings us into an ever widening circle of distress, darkness and defeat. Faith is not earned. It is a gift from the hand of God.
We build faith by learning to trust God in the little things These little acts of faith build a greater foundation for what God wants to do in our life down the road. Faith is infectious if we regularly come in contact with it. We spend far too much time just believing and too little time building memories of successful faith. Faith comes by hearing the Word of God over and over again. Faith comes by speaking positive declarations about what God wants to happen.
Perseverance is necessary to build faith. If we give up and give in, unbelief has won. Giving and receiving encouragement helps our faith to grow. Faith grows through prayer, honesty, and humility towards God. Seeds of faith can grow into mighty trees of faith, as Faith comes in different sizes and shapes. If we constantly live for riches and power, how often do we look for things that build our faith? Faith is superior to money and power because it has an eternal reward.
Without faith, there is only darkness, not light. Faith is like the glue that sticks us to the heart and mind of God. This makes the gift of faith priceless. The wise and mature Christians are always seeking out faith. When we discover the faithfulness of God towards us, faith filled company gives us a faith filled life. A thankful, heart and attitude helps to guard our heart and faith in difficult times. Faith will bring us unmatched, love and favor.

APPROACHING GOD’S JOY
What would it be like to have
Your joy?
Would my heart explode into
1 million pieces?
Would my feet dance until they could not move?
Would songs of joy and relief rattle my bones?
Would memories and feelings of frustration and pain rush by my broken heart
like a mighty river?
Would my crushed spirit be reborn by Your gentle and tender touches?
Would my hope filled eyes see through my darkness of doubt and distress?
Would I feel Your everlasting arms hold me close to your heart when fatigue overwhelmed me and my energy is exhausted?
Would my heart play songs of joy like a mighty Symphony Orchestra?
Would the thunder of a gigantic yes and the lightning of a new plan give me fresh
and new joy and inspiration?
Would even my whispers become hallelujahs when my voice cries out in praise until there are no words to be said or feelings to be expressed?
Would memories of answered prayers be inscribed forever on my fragile conscience?
Could Your message of joy in everything You do shine like a beacon
of inspiration for others?
I will not give up!
I am waiting to see what Your joy would be like.
I want to capture Your joy, Father God, and let it dance within my body forever.
May Your contentment fill every inch of the Grand Canyon of my hunger
and fill me with Your joy!

WHY DOES GOD ALLOW DETOURS?
Our lives are full of detours and we generally don’t like them. The devil uses detours to cause fear, frustration, and false failures. Detours are actually a manifestation of the complex future that God has for us. God allows detours in our lives to steer us towards things he wants us to experience.
Detours are also allowed by God to bring us into the fullness of joy, delight and wisdom. Detours are also a path to new and fulfilling relationships that will help us to reach and find our destiny. Detours are vehicles of profound blessing and change. Detours reset our course into the center of God‘s will. Detours reveal God‘s surprises and his passionate affection for us.
Detours allow us to clear out the cobwebs of our thoughts so that we can experience the pure and explosive power of God‘s thoughts towards us. Detours deepen the gifts of the Holy Spirit in us so that we can become the fullest expression of Jesus. Detours are like the glorious and mysterious bowls of love that we walk through to experience the greatness of God. Detours are an important part of God‘s battle plan to reveal what he made us to be. Detours give us the gift of surrender and thoroughly confuse the evil one. In heaven, we will be rejoicing because of our detours and not crying as a result of them. Detours are God’s invitation to his parties and joyous celebrations if we do not give up or give in!!
