For you have upheld my right and my cause; You have sat on Your throne, judging righteously. Psalm 9:4

Many people become fearful because they feel their rights have been trampled upon. We may feel that the cause that we fought for was worthless. However, it is God who decides what rights to give and what causes to defend. He does them every day, displaying His perfect righteousness and justice.

It is only God who can sit on His throne and decide what rights and causes that fit and finish His purposes. We can believe that God will defend and honor those rights and causes which conform to His word and nature. His perfect word has been spoken for all time and into eternity. It will not change because He judges righteously.
