God rescued me from my powerful enemy, from my foes, who were too strong for me. Psalm 18:17

There are many times in life when we feel overwhelmed and trapped. Vain imaginations stir up lies about how powerful our enemies are over us. But our God will have none of it. He is
easily more powerful than a demon or a lie. After all, Jesus Christ defeated them completely and forever by offering Himself up on the cross for our sins. Redemption from our sins is one of the greatest truths of our life. Our enemy uses an avalanche of lies to convince us that this is not so. But salvation is sure for everyone who confesses Christ Jesus Lordship and acknowledges his own sin.

You see, lies and fear are the only weapons the evil one has against us because of this magnificent truth. A major strategy of defeating fear and doubt is learning to run to the cross as often as needed. It is at the cross that we receive everything needed for our salvation and our deliverance.
