God brought me out into a spacious place; He rescued me because He delighted in me. Psalm 18:19

We may notice in this verse that it is God that brought us into a spacious place and not us. As a matter of fact, He has been walking with us all along, despite how we feel about our journey. Another way of describing this verse is that the Bible is describing a place of favor where we can see our enemies or our obstacles so that we can find our pathway again. We will not know until we are with the Lord in heaven how many times, He rescued us from the snares and plots of our enemies. Our all- knowing God sees them before they take place and rescues us from our trapped condition.

Our God is never confounded or befuddled. He is sure and perfect in all His actions toward us. He has already given us an avenue of escape for every deadly temptation or problem. This is because He delights in us.

We are the apple of His eye and His favorite, believe it or not. We are His favorite because He loves each one of us perfectly and equally.
