Now I know that the Lord saves His anointed; He answers him from His holy heaven with the saving power of His right hand. Psalm 20:6
One of our greatest reasons for fear is that we do not feel like the Lord’s anointed. The opposite is actually true when we develop our relationship with God Himself. This does not have to be a perfect relationship, but at least a sincere one. David was not perfect by any means and committed many sins. However, he was sincere in his love for God. It was this sincere love that brought about his anointing from God.
God not only answers His anointed, He gives them His heavenly perspective, which defeats and confounds His enemies. This heavenly perspective is part of God’s saving power to give His anointed servants success. The right hand is a phrase used in ancient cultures depicting the favor or blessing of God. So, when God saves us with His right hand, He is giving us His very best of His love.
