The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is majestic . Psalm 29:4

Sometimes as God’s children, we forget the greatness of the Father that we serve. He is our Creator, the One who perfectly loves us and our protector. No one could care for us more or be more passionate in the act of caring for His family. God designed the family unit to provide structure and protection in a sometimes hostile environment. The family provides a safe and nurturing place where we can come, find ourselves and discover our gifts to give to others. It is in the example of the family that we discover God’s power and authority.

When a powerful and majestic voice of God speaks for us and is on our side, we are not afraid. When fear succeeds into putting us into captivity, we feel lonely and weak. How good it is then to remember the powerful and majestic voice of God speaking on our behalf.

It is in His Scripture that God thunders out His love for us. This is why we use God’s Word to remind us of His great promises and devotion to us in difficult times and places.
