The Lord gives strength to His people; the Lord blesses His people with peace. Psalm 29:11

The Lord gives us two great gifts to manage our emotions in this verse. In our strenuous emotional lives, we certainly need His strength to continue towards His goal. It is the enemies plan to continually disrupt and distract us from reaching them. Satan would be delighted if we ran around in circles trying to reach our goals and manage our emotions. However, our Father never grows tired of helping us and providing the strength that we need for each situation. We only need to humble ourselves and ask for His help.

Peace is a result of us walking with the Lord. When we choose to walk with Him, He is our peace because we are walking in harmony with His purposes. If we keep our peace, we can also hear the loving voice of the Lord more efficiently and more intimately.

With strength and peace, we are enabled to meet every intimidation of our human and spiritual enemies. It is when we lose our peace that we lose the focus to become successful in our resistance.
