You are my hiding place; You will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance. Psalm 32:7

How many times have we longed for a hiding place when we are afraid, embarrassed or humiliated? It is God Himself who offers us a hiding place for all of these. Yes, sometimes we just need time to get it together again and gather our senses about us. This is especially true in our society of accusation, fear and division.

God has a better plan for us. He not only protects us from trouble, but He surrounds us with songs of deliverance that He puts in our heart. We can put these in our treasure chest of memories that we can use when times are not so good. It is so good to have a loving Father who is constantly giving us His best.

He even turns our trouble into songs of joy and happiness when we remember how we were saved from destruction and defeat. God did this many times for His people in the Bible and He will also do this for us if we call upon His name and remember His goodness to us.
