My whole being will exclaim, “Who is like You, O Lord?” You rescue the poor from those too strong for them, the poor and needy from those who rob them. Psalm 35:10
The psalmist uses the future tense to exclaim the greatness and the tender heart of God. One day, after we meet Him face to face, we will be exclaiming it forever and forever. Who else who is so mighty bothers to rescue the poor? Who considers their miserable estate except the Mighty One who provides for all His creatures? Who else has the ears to hear the often-pathetic cries of the depressed and the stricken?
It is the Lord who made all things who has the resources and the power to rescue the defenseless from the wicked who extort and steal. Often when we are oppressed by fear, we will feel that almost everything is too strong for us.

God cares about justice and the needs of His people. Vengeance belongs to the Lord and He will repay with precision and perfection. All things belong to Him and those who steal from the needy are stealing from the Lord Himself.
