May God arise, may His enemies be scattered, may His foes flee before Him.
Psalm 68:1

One of man’s greatest fears is that God will be distant or ignore his cries for help. Another fear, as a result, is that his enemies will triumph over him and either take his possessions or end his life.

Out of these fears rises man’s hope that God will arise and not be distant to the cries for help. Man can think of no higher being to save him from disaster or death.

We are often lazy instead of being more courageous about our decisions when facing our problems and challenges. Courage does not just come from pushing a button but more often comes from the treasure chest of our memories and experiences. We love to remember times like this when our foes fled before us, enemies scattered, and our fears forgotten. God is constantly encouraging us to turn and ask Him for help when we are in dire need. He loves to help us and provides powerful solutions to our overwhelming problems.
