My tongue will tell of your righteous acts all day long, for those who wanted to harm me have been put to shame and confusion. Psalm 71:24

It is a widely held theory that our confession dictates our condition. What we talk about the most is the direction we move towards in life. This may be so because we come into agreement with whatever reality we most speak of. The most wonderful and beautiful reality that man can envision is to be with God always. Therefore, God wants us to praise His righteous acts all day long.

Those who do not praise the Lord are not so influenced by His power and grace. They are much more likely to plot evil and harm others. When we do not seek God, we are prone to be put into shame and confusion because we are agreeing with the power of sin, which always seek to destroy us. When we speak positively of our future, despite our circumstances, we are agreeing with God and His perfect plan for us.
