Yet I am always with You God; You hold me by my right hand. Psalm 73:23

We are not always with God, but God is always with us. His steadfast and unfailing love never loses interest or affection for us. He walks with us through life in good and bad times. God is very committed to helping us to follow a path that will lead us closer to Him and to His will for our lives. This is also a path for the greatest love and blessing for others.

The right hand of the Lord is an ancient way of indicating that we are experiencing His favor, protection and blessing. Without the Lord’s presence or approval of us, we could not experience such favor and blessing in our dealings and battles with fear and doubt. The phrase, you hold me, indicates a desire for intimacy and perpetual closeness with God. Those with the closest relationship to God are likely to continually experience the greatest number of daily blessings and favor at His right hand.
