Rescue the weak and needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked. Psalm 82:4

Who among us has not felt weak or needy at some time? This is when stress and consternation jump upon us like a hungry predator. Yet we may try and say that we are alright and that we are in control of things.

Our society has tried to tell us that it is a weakness for someone not to have things under control. God knows our true condition. He is always ready to deliver us from our darkness.

There are many ways that God delivers us from the hand of the wicked. God may use certain people in our lives who have the skills to help us be free or He may create new thought patterns, which inject healthy thinking into our tired and confused minds. God may just change our circumstances so that we are not in bondage of fear and worry anymore. One of the delightful things about our God is that He has innumerable ways to save and deliver us from evil. God is so good to us that He does this every day often without our awareness of the fact.
