O Lord God Almighty, who is like You? You are mighty, O Lord, and Your faithfulness surrounds You. Psalm 89:8

We struggle to have a faithful friend. We have someone better than that, we have a faithful God who can do all things. We have a friend who is like no one else. His deeds and His faithfulness are legendary.

He is the author of the best-selling book of all time. His faithfulness has been sung about, danced about and proclaimed everywhere. When we find a good human friend, we like to brag about him to others. Our God is worthy of every boast made about Him.

God is so faithful to us that it literally surrounds us and extends from His being. Every one of His acts portrays it. His words and His promises are everlastingly true and perfect. His plans cannot be matched by all of humanity scheming together. God’s thoughts are higher than the highest heavens and deeper than the deepest sea. His love is the great desire of each human heart. Many of our stories describe His wonders and the beauty of His love. God is so magnificent that no mind can adequately grasp His greatness. This God wants to be your friend and show You His faithfulness, which dispels fear and doubt.
