Righteousness and justice are the foundations of Your throne; love and faithfulness go before You. Psalm 89:14

We long for righteousness and justice. We live in a world where fear, toil and trouble abound. Injustice seems to be everywhere and without God our existence would be depressing. God sees and knows all these things that plague and trap us.

He is a God of righteousness and justice, which is the foundation of His rule over us. This may not seem to be immediately apparent. God promises to us that He will correct every injustice and confront every sin.

Love and faithfulness are the vehicles that God uses to display His greatness and His plans. Every person will give an account for what they have done with their gift of life. The day will come on the earth when justice will be the description of the rule of God and the acts of men. It is very encouraging to know that no evil person will get away with their evil or wicked acts and that the righteous will be more than amply rewarded on that day.
