Praise the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits— who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases. Psalm 103:2-3

Wouldn’t it be convenient to have a human doctor that would not charge you and find cures for all your diseases? God gave us someone even better, His son Jesus, who can do all the above and forgive our sins too!

These benefits come to us more readily when we learn to praise the Lord and invest in our relationship with Him. Our God is so amazing that He is quite unforgettable. Because of our constant need for Him, He displays stunning affection for us and our families.

This affection is even more amazing considering the fact that we constantly break our relationship with the Lord by our frequent sins and our cold hearts towards Him. We are constantly distracted away from God by the next convenient and best thing for our immediate need. Despite our unfaithfulness, God has promised us His unrelenting affection and attention to every detail of our lives. When we recall these benefits, it inspires us to have new courage in the face of our fears because of God’s great love.
