For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is His love for those who fear Him. Psalm 103:11

On this day, we read a metaphor about the difference in the majestic and infinite love of God compared to the finite mind of man. How can our minds understand how billions of stars were created by one sentence from the mouth of God? These stars have the power of hundreds of atomic bombs in each of them. There are billions of such stars and their mighty force is equated to the power of God’s love for each of us.

The word fear is a door to the heart of God and heart of man. Fear has many applications here. It entails respect, awe and wonder among many other qualities. These qualities in a man’s heart are invitations for God to touch and mold us in His image. God has planted these invitations in our heart to deepen the relationship between Him and us. Because God has no limit, the relationship with Him has no limits. God is such a gentleman that He waits and knocks on the door of our hearts. Therefore, He is waiting for our invitation to do His magnificent and wondrous work in our lives and in our eternity
