Your Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. Psalm 119:105

Many times, we may have asked, Lord to whom else can we go? We would love a bold and stark answer, but God has chosen to give us His Word as a lamp to show us the way. Many times, we face confusing situations in life and must sort out even more complex answers. God’s Word is a sure and true source of guidance and inspiration for us. This is true for us, not only in the present but in the future. We can count on the Word of God putting us on the right path to the correct answer.

We want to have everything solved in one minute, one hour or one day. Life does not always allow us to have such an easy way out of our problems. That is why God’s lamp is also a light to our path, which covers situations that will require more time and study to solve. The lamp that God gives us is an illumination of the truth that we need to correctly determine our actions and responses. This truth also helps us to deal with relationship issues as we attempt to untangle human interference into our life. Other people mean to help us, but their assistance causes our problems to be more troubled and murkier. God’s answers are clean and pure, and they lead to more lasting resolutions of what we daily face.
