Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but endures forever. Psalm 125:1

We are all like shoppers, looking for that great and sure deal that will not change. Our world is shifting and changing very quickly now, and it feels that we are going through an emotional and spiritual earthquake of shifting fortunes and destinies. We cannot seem to get a good deal unless both parties trust each other to give back what was promised.

One of our problems is that so many promises have been broken, which has resulted in a lot of fractured hearts and consciences. We are beginning to wonder who we can really trust, if anyone.

Jesus, the great lover of our soul is calling out to us and saying to us, “Come closer, abide and walk with Me. You can trust Me. and I will not disappoint you.” We get distracted from trusting Jesus when we see a quick and seemingly better deal. When we are with Jesus, we will learn about His steadfast love which keeps us from being shaken when we are in circumstances that shake others who do not trust Him. We will discover His love that endures through the worst and most severe testing, pain and personal heartache. A mountain is not easily moved and that is the way it is when we are in the arms of Jesus and trust in the Lord.
