Do not put your trust in princes, in mortal men, who cannot save. Psalm 146:3

How many times have we accepted the easiest solution to getting out of a problem? As we have all learned, this is not always the best way to handle our difficulties. Numerous people promise to save us from many things, but they cannot.
Political parties, products and people make promises galore that never come to fruition. We have come back empty handed and hollow hearted in the exchange of a promised rescue that did not materialize.
These promises are made by human beings, who are riddled with error, misjudgments and weaknesses. Jesus makes a promise and always keeps it because He has no weaknesses. He does not lie, and He is in the saving business. He saves our lives, our futures, our circumstances and our very souls for eternity. Jesus is completely just, reliable in all His decisions, which are executed with great love. All His thoughts and loving decisions can stand the test of time. One day, we will be forever thanking and praising Jesus because He kept His promise to save us when we asked Him to be our Lord and Savior.
