Be sure of this: the wicked will not go unpunished, but those who are righteous will go free. Proverbs 11:21

There are many offended people that have been stabbed by the wicked dagger of injustice. These offended people have deeply wondered why God would allow such evil. The Bible has stated with great clarity that the wicked will not go unpunished. Another question has long been asked, “When will the wicked be punished? Why also do the wicked get away with such wickedness?” Our enemy loves to try to stir up bitterness in our heart over these unanswered questions. Satan loves to point out that God may be a liar or that He doesn’t care about our pain and suffering.

God’s timing and our timing are not the same. God’s longsuffering attitude is meant to give the wicked every opportunity to repent and turn away from their sin to a God that doesn’t want anyone to suffer eternally in hell, which was created for Satan and the demons. Jesus will make sure all wrongs are righted and vindicated.

In heaven, the righteous will be free from pain, suffering and injustice forever. The perfect God and Creator of the universe will rectify all injustice and evil completely and justly in every instance in life. Every cry of the forgotten will be heard and fulfilled.
