He who pursues righteousness and love finds life, prosperity and honor.
Proverbs 21:21

It is ironic that many things we pursue in life end up pursuing us. The Lord showers great blessings on those who pursue righteousness and love. Both righteousness and love are deeply embedded in the character of the Lord Himself. His goal for us is to become more and more like Him while we are on this earth. If we continue to pursue these things, God will open the doors of opportunity to experience and become like Him. In doing this, we will be made righteous and filled with love.

These are qualities which attract prosperity and honor to us. This is because true righteousness and love are so difficult to find and experience on this planet. We search for and accumulate many things, but we will find that love and righteousness are the greatest treasure of all. These are two important earmarks of a person who will end up in heaven with God.

In heaven, we will experience an endless supply of prosperity and honor with our Creator. This is because our God never forgets the acts of love or righteousness that we will do to honor and please Him. They will be celebrated forever in the chronicles of heaven.
