As you do not know the path of the wind, or how the body is formed in a mother’s womb, so you cannot understand the work of God, the Maker of all things. Ecclesiastes 11:5
The word wind is a metaphor for the Holy Spirit in Scripture. Men have struggled for many generations about how to interpret the direction and intent of the Holy Spirit; but the Holy Spirit cannot be understood with mere knowledge. Instead, He will be understood by reading the Word of God and developing a heart relationship with God. This will require both time and patience and devotion to the relationship. Understanding the Holy Spirit or God can be very difficult for man because God has such an infinite capacity for wisdom, knowledge and action. We like to define our reality in terms of our limited understanding. God determines His actions and shows His wisdom throughout the span of eternity.
Man cannot understand how a life is formed or even used. Man cannot determine how intelligent God is because of our finite mind. Even love is mostly observed but the phenomenon is not completely understood in the human mind or heart. Love is a very powerful force, which determines and directs the life of men and their societies. One can hardly imagine the complexity and depth of God’s love for all of us. The work of God will be the eternal treasure of the believer of God. We can capture this mystery by asking Jesus into our heart and asking Him to be Lord of our life.
