Once more the humble will rejoice in the Lord; the needy will rejoice in the Holy One of Israel. Isaiah 29:19

When evil prospers, many will feel that justice is nonexistent. Those in need of provision and rescue feel that there is no chance of redemption or cure. Darkness has a way of extinguishing the hope of man and making the faint hearted even more weak. Even when the times are bleak, God still wins despite the picture or the odds against victory.

Our Lord is the undefeated champion of the humble, poor and needy. His heart seems to go out to them in a special way because of their great need and heartfelt cries. With the Lord’s mighty power, He presents a solution and a victory which will mystify and confound every and all forms of evil.

The Lord is never outwitted or intimidated by His evil adversaries. He holds a sure victory in His hand for you and for me as we return to Him in prayer and supplication.
