O Lord be gracious to us; we long for You. Be our strength every morning, our salvation in time of distress. Isaiah 33:2

Jesus has placed a longing in each one of our hearts to be close to the ones that we love as a provision for us in a lonely and sometimes cruel world. We need for our loved ones to be gracious to us because we need their kindness to help heal our wounded souls. As we journey through life, we will need the Lord’s love and grace to walk with us every day as well as other loved ones.

The Lord uses His love and grace to give us strength to live a life that leads to forgiveness and salvation plus more of His presence. Our lives are filled with times of distress and discomfort. Jesus offers us His kindness and His grace and strength to carry us through the difficult times and eventually bring us home to Him. He rescues us in times of doubt and fear.
