The Lord will be the sure foundation for your times, a rich store of salvation and wisdom and knowledge; the fear of the Lord is the key to this treasure. Isaiah 33:6

We are dream catchers and chasers. We attempt to capture dreams and assemble them for our own purposes. Unfortunately, these dreams are vapors that often fade away into failure and frustration.

We are in a society of conflicting dreams, each one of us trying to bring about our own dreams. Even when we agree, we miscommunicate and are not able to lay down a sure foundation for our dreams.

Only God can establish a sure foundation for our lives. The dreams that God gives us are the ones that will come to pass when we obey Him and His leadership. We often fail to realize that our most treasured dream is to be with God and part of God’s family eternally. What we have here will become as grass that fades away. The treasure we have stored in heaven will be with us forever. God’s treasure of wisdom in the Bible can lead us toward salvation. When we fear the Lord, it is the key to acquire wisdom, knowledge and salvation that we need for the troubling times that we face now and in the future.
