Who has understood the mind of the Lord or instructed Him as His counselor?
Isaiah 40:13

A perplexed man asks his Creator, “Why did you allow my life to be so difficult?” There was silence and no answer came. The man persisted and asked the same question again and again. Finally, the answer came. It was a merciful sweet voice and not a condemning one. The Lord said, “I do not think that you can understand My answer because your mind is too finite to comprehend My answer.”

Most of us are aware of how our wisdom has made a mess of things. Our knowledge and understanding are very incomplete. Our compassion is limited and is subject to the amount of burdens that we carry. We have concluded that God is in control of the Universe and we are not.

This is hard for us; we would rather be in control as much as possible because of our fear of the future. Our God is merciful to us and will give us the ability to accept His solutions if we humble ourselves and ask Him.
