Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength, they will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:31

In times of trouble and indecision, people will be deciding where to put their hope. Many claim to be our savior, but only God has a proven track record of saving and loving His people. When we lose our hope, we grow limp and weak and run around in circles. Our Lord promises to renew our strength and increase our hope by helping us to rise above the circumstances of our life as an eagle soars on the currents.

We gain strength by placing our hope in the Lord because He has proven that His promises are true, and His love is faithful to meet our needs and vanquish our fears. With God on our side, we will not grow weary because He gives us new strength every day to fight evil, sin and anxiety. This is because our home is not here, but it is in heaven. The earth may be a mess, but heaven is a perfect and beautiful place full of blessings and God’s forever family. As we trust in the Lord, we will soar like the eagle full of hope and strength and above fear and betrayal.
