The Lord will march out like a mighty man, like a warrior He will stir up His zeal; with a shout He will raise the battle cry and will triumph over His enemies. Isaiah 42:13

In times of darkness, depression and fear, we cry out for help. We wonder who will come and do battle for us. Will there be anyone to help us at all? We would love to have a warrior or mighty man take care of business for us because we feel incapable or helpless.

Too often we feel incapable and helpless when we wrestle with the problems and the enemies of our life. We search our resources and our skills but sometimes they are woefully ineffective and inadequate.

A weary and weak humanity waits and yearns for justice, vengeance and victory. Most wars are won in the physical sense, when the people and the ground is conquered. In God’s world with evil, the Lord will win a complete victory. We will shout with the Lord in triumph as He wins a total victory over our enemies. When victory abounds in our life, there is little room for fear or doubt. When we are with the Lord, we will experience total peace and restoration.
