Before Me no god was formed, nor will there be one after Me. I, even I, am the Lord and apart from Me there is no savior. Isaiah 43:10b-11

This statement in Scripture explains the Lord’s identity and His purpose with mankind. He illustrates His greatness in that there will be no other god before or after Him. In believing this, we will develop a relationship with the Lord, and this will help to banish fear and doubt from our lives.

There is no substitute for the Lord or no one to equal His power, authority or wisdom. Jesus is the only one who can say that I am the only Savior. This relieves our fear, doubts and anxiety. Jesus is the source of strength and peace in turbulent times.
