This is what the Lord says, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: I am the Lord your God who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go. Isaiah 48:17

When the Lord describes Himself, He declares exactly who He is and what He does for us. This is to our benefit because God is both immense and enormous compared to our small stature and intelligence. God knows full well our limitations and has decided, before He made us, to teach us and direct us down the path of life He has prepared for us, which dispels our fear.

The Lord has created us for a purpose, and He has redeemed us because we are precious and valuable in His sight. This also reflects His great mercy upon us because we can do nothing for Him. Yet, He has decided to do everything for us so that we can be part of His forever family, which is the goal of our good, good Father..
