Instead of their shame, My people will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace they will rejoice in their inheritance. Isaiah 61:7a

The world promises us glitz and glitter, but instead it gives us guilt and garbage that produces fear and anxiety in our lives. The world cannot deliver its promises because they do not possess the means to give them. We can see and touch what they can give but they are empty and meaningless. They can lead us on a trail of grief stained with tears.

Our God has another and much better plan. He wants to give us the joy of our salvation through a relationship with Jesus Christ. Father God wants to add an everlasting inheritance that He describes as a double portion for what we suffer on earth. This inheritance is so glorious that it cannot be described by what we can see, hear and understand presently. We will turn in our shame and disgrace for honor and privilege as a member of the family of God. These are part of the wonderful surprises that God has for those who love and obey Him
