“Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you and will rescue you,” declares the Lord.
Jeremiah 1:8

Afraid, alone and abandoned are the triplets of doom, destruction and discouragement that will attempt to confront us in the future. One of the ways of fighting fear is that we can prepare for the future now rather than later.

The best way to prepare is to cultivate our relationship with the Lord, who has the answer to the triplets of destruction.

With the Lord, we can develop a mindset, which cannot be attacked with fear. We should build a history of love, fellowship and intimacy with God that destroys the power of fear and intimidation when the evil one attacks. Our skills to build this love relationship are built with prayer, the Word of God and time spent with Him. This gives us a rich storehouse of strength, confidence and courage to face anything that may challenge our future.
