But the LORD is with me like a fearsome warrior. Therefore, my persecutors will stumble and not prevail. Since they have not succeeded, they will be utterly put to shame, with an everlasting disgrace that will never be forgotten. Jeremiah 20:11

We are in a battle and a war for our souls with everlasting consequences. Because of the Lord’s great love for us, He jumps into the battle to defend us like a fearsome warrior. The Lord will save everyone who accepts His Son Jesus as His Savior and King. Since our Lord has never been defeated, no enemy can succeed against Him.

The Lord does not just defeat His enemies, He utterly crushes them and disgraces them because of the intensity of His glorious love for us. The Lord also relegates those who have chosen sin and rebellion against Him, to everlasting shame and disgrace. This shame and disgrace will never be forgotten.
