Do not be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to them. Daniel 10:12

Have you ever done everything right and help that you desperately needed still did not come? Daniel provides us a good model as to what to do when this occurs in our life. Despite his fear, he kept on trusting, trying and praying to God for help. Daniel knew where his help would come from and he set his mind to gain understanding from God.

Daniel’s key was how he approached God in humility and faith that God would come through. Even though he desperately needed an answer, he waited for God to provide a solution to his problem. Daniel’s prayer was heard because of his humble and faithful attitude towards God. He set in his heart that God’s response was the one he wanted and needed. Sometimes, we settle for much less when we try to make our own solutions. When we trust God, we always get the best solution to our problems and predicament
