Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened. Matthew 7:7-8

Here is a way to approach the Lord. When we make our requests to the Lord, we seek to remember the good things He has done and His great love for us. We go back again and knock on the door of heaven until we get an answer for our request. This process is made more fruitful as we build a relationship with tenderness and intimacy with the Lord where we express our love and gratitude toward Him.

As we know His heart, we can learn to discern His will and come into agreement with His plans for us. A successful relationship with God is built on a sincere opening of our heart towards God. The sincere opening of our heart makes it much more likely for God to move on our behalf to discover the answer to our request.
