No one lights a lamp and hides it in a jar or puts it under a bed. Instead, he puts it on a stand, so that those who come in can see the light. Luke 8:16

Love produces light but worry and fear promote darkness. It is up to us to decide whether we will pursue light or darkness in our daily actions. The world is constantly promoting dark alternatives to pave the way for success and promotion. The world teaches us to do things in the dark so that we can get our own way without opposition and responsibility for our actions. Darkness and self-centeredness produce more darkness. In darkness we hide and do not expose ourselves or our true plans.

Light exposes the beauty of our world and it also allows others to see what is lovely, good and abundant. When we choose the light, we put love on display in the stand of our physical body. The light and love of God show us the way and help others to find their way. God wants us to build a family that radiates His light and love to the dark, rebellious and self-centered world.
