In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. John 1:1

God has known about you before you were even born. You are part of His plan for this period of time and space. You were chosen to live now even before time began. Memorizing the Word and planting God’s promises into your heart, mind and soul is a great way to have a deeper and loving walk with God because God and the Word of God, which is Jesus, are one.

It will be more and more necessary to know God’s Word because of the increasing darkness and wickedness in our society. The best way to overcome the fear produced by this wickedness is to learn more and more about God’s love and promises and then apply it to your situation. When we know God’s Word, we also know how to use it as an offensive weapon against the enemies of fear and intimidation. It is this Word that holds us fast in times of trial, trouble and trepidation.
