Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in Me. In My Father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with Me that you also may be where I am. John 14:1-3

The world assigns us tombstones of trouble, fear and woes, which sink deep into our hearts and spirits. It seems like trouble after trouble is piled on top of one another as we attempt to stagger to the finish line of our lives. It is no wonder that there is so much fighting, contention and jealousy among us humans.

Instead of tombstones, Jesus promised us a mansion or a house with many rooms. When He left the earth, He promised that He was preparing a place for each one of us who believed He was the Messiah. The world leaves us, but Jesus is coming back again for us so that we can be part of the forever family of God. Our hearts are filled with hope that we are not left alone as an orphan but have a Savior that will never leave us or forsake us.
