Now, Lord, consider their threats and enable your servants to speak Your Word with great boldness. Acts 4:29

This is a good example of how the Lord listens and responds to our prayers. Until Satan is completely defeated, he will continue to try to intimidate and manipulate us with threats and lies. Instead of arguing with Satan, God has instructed us to respond to accusations speaking God’s Word with great boldness. To do this, we must first inscribe God’s Word in our minds, hearts and spirit.

Before we speak, we must allow the Spirit of God to help us do battle by bringing to our remembrance what we have memorized. This is our battle plan, the Lord listens and then speaks, then we listen and then speak in the same manner by using His Word.

It is the Spirit of God in us that makes us bold to counteract the threats from the world and its people.
