For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So, we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:17-18
On this earth, the weight of our troubles varies with each person and circumstance. When we are in the midst of trouble, it seems like our circumstances are the worst ever. It is the devil’s purpose to take away our hope by lying to us that God is not listening to our cries for help. These momentary troubles come and go quickly but weigh heavily on our heart if we don’t put our hope and faith in God.
When we fix our eyes on God, He is able to teach us about the truth of our troubles. This happens when we fix our eyes on what is unseen, rather than that which is seen.

When we focus on the unseen, our hearts and minds can begin to grasp the promises and blessings of what God is preparing for those who love Him. The presence and love of God will be so magnificent that it will make all our earthly troubles seem insignificant and momentary.
