But the Lord said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.” 2 Corinthians 12:9

We are always looking for that product, idea or invention to make us invincible. We concentrate so much on adding strength to ourselves that we do not properly recognize and deal with our weaknesses. This has led to an arena of protection and aggressive behaviors. This kind of behavior does not build relationships that we need to have more joy and love in our lives. We have become suspicious and fearful because we have learned not to trust God or each other

The Bible says that God’s ways are wiser and the opposite of man’s ways. This verse states that God’s sufficiency is discovered in learning to receive His grace on a daily basis. God’s grace cannot be deserved as it is a free gift to those who ask Him and especially those who trust Him.

His grace is all powerful and works in us in ways we do not understand. God’s grace can change hearts and move obstacles out of the way. His grace provides inspiration, strength and encouragement to any problem, sin or bad habit. God uses our weakness to show His glory and power. God uses the door of our weakness to demonstrate His wisdom and His ability to change us. With God, weakness is not a liability but an asset when we give our weakness to Him to have His way.
