Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. Ephesians 5:1

Our world is full of imitations or imitators. These imitators promise that their product is as good or even better than the last imitation. The devil himself is the great false imitator and has no power to create but only to imitate what has already been created by God. He does this to set us on a fake path to destroy us. We are not deeply loved by him; we are deeply hated by him. He is the father of lies as the Bible declares.

God, who deeply loves us as His dear children, is the only real thing since He created everything for His pleasure and purpose. God’s son Jesus Christ surrendered His life, as a true worthy and perfect sacrifice, to show us real love that could never be imitated.

It is only God who is the source of real love, and all true love comes out of His deep and everlasting affection for us. In turn, we become a fragrant offering to Father God when we live a life of love that is empowered by the Spirit of God.
