And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him. Hebrews 11:6

Faith in our Sovereign God means that even though we do not see Him, we believe that He exists. Even though we do not see the wind, we can see its effects on our planet and its power can be seen in a tornado or hurricane. The same is true of our Almighty God. Our world teaches us to believe only in what we can see or touch. This viewpoint robs us of many blessings of walking with our all-knowing and unseen Creator God.

Belief that God exists is a powerful engine to push us forward in our journey to know the Almighty God of the universe. This helps us to build a more tangible relationship with Him where we can experience His presence and His power in our lives. As we continue on our journey to know God, belief allows us to experience His surprises and delights. God loves to delight us by extravagantly loving us above and beyond what we can think or imagine. Our faith is the key to this treasure that will launch us into an eternity that is void of fear, anxiety and turmoil.
