There is no fear in love, but perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. I John 4:18

Fear is darkness and love is our light. When we trust in the love of God, it drives out the darkness in our lives because He is the light. Most of us prefer the light over the dark. Most of us would choose love over fear. God is calling us to perfect ourselves in love by drawing deeper into a relationship with Him.

As Christians we are called to share the light and not spread the darkness. The more we live in God, the more light and love we have to share with others. We make a choice to give love and light every day of our lives. At the end of our days, we will be judged on how much light and love we shared with others. What have your chosen today and what are you choosing now? The Holy Spirit is waiting to assist you to live a life of light and love. This is part of the give and take of family relationship which becomes a living and breathing force.
