When He (Jesus) opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God and the testimony they had maintained. They called out in a loud voice, “How long, Sovereign Lord, holy and true, until You judge the inhabitants of the earth and avenge our blood?” Revelation 6:9-10

Many have left their requests at God’s throne feeling empty handed and empty hearted. This is because they have not recognized or accepted God’s leadership and His solutions to their cries for help. The timing and methods from the mind of God are incomprehensible to the simpler minds of human beings.

The testimony of innocent blood shed is a mighty cry to God for justice and proper retribution. God shapes and forms human destinies and history itself for the purpose of giving birth to the ultimate good for eternity. No man has been able to understand the full impact of God’s actions on the life of even one single person. God, who made the human heart, and who fully understands its pain, will perfectly avenge the acts of evil men. In the court of eternity, there will be no waiting for justice. For now, we must wait patiently and pray for God’s perfect timing to act on our behalf.
