The beauty of the Lord. The evil one has stirred up many potions and schemes about beauty. The Lord has placed a desire to find beauty and all of us. The Lord God is the creator, designer and producer of beauty. Everything that is truly beautiful, comes from the Lord himself. He has scattered shadows of his beauty all over the universe and earth. Beauty is found in all of his creation, if we have the desire to find it.
Because of this fallen world, beauty has become warped and twisted. What seems to be really beautiful is not necessarily true beauty. The sinful nature of our world has dulled our understanding of what true beauty is really like. Authentic beauty from God saturates every one of our senses. We see beautiful things, hear beautiful music, smell wonderful fragrances, and touch soft and luxurious cloth.
God‘s beauty brings life and joy to others. It is authentic, eternal, and produces more life. God‘s beauty was created for us to enjoy. His beauty was given to unite us, not divide us. Satan’s version of beauty divides us, causes jealousy, envy, strife, and greed. The evil one is a peddler of ugliness and self criticism. This causes us to doubt ourselves so that we cannot complete God‘s plan of promoting and giving even more beauty in this world. God has designed us to be ambassadors of beauty. God wants our mind to think a beautiful thought, our heart to feel the riches of beautiful love, and want our voice to speak beautiful words, and beautiful songs. God wants to pour out his beauty to us so that we can realize how beautiful He is and how beautiful we are.
When we believe we are ugly, we cannot share the beauty that God wants to give away to those who need it. Beauty is full of light and destroys the darkness. That beauty illuminates and magnifies the good. Beauty helps God’s plan to be perpetuated. Beauty gives strength and clarity to the act of Almighty God. God makes beauty into a bouquet of blessing. Satan tries to use beauty as a curse because it brings pain rather than joy and does not last. Every time we do something for Him or read God‘s word, we become more beautiful. Worship calls down cascades of beauty from heaven. Sincere and honest prayer is another way to become more beautiful. When prayer warriors and intercessors pray, it creates beauty and changes the atmosphere around us.
The name of Jesus is the most beautiful word ever created. When we speak about Jesus, we spread God‘s love to people and we create the beauty we so long for. The best way to have beauty in your life is to seek out beauty in everything you say and do. All this will help us to live like the beautiful heart of Jesus.
