Music and laughter

Blessed is the mind that first thought of me
Yes, the mind that thinks of me still
Blessed are the hands that formed me
Ever shaping me in His will
Blessed is the breath that birthed me
Who from the clutch of death stole
Blessed is the head that bore my thorny woe
Glorious the head that crushed my raging foe
Blessed are the arms that hung on the cross for me

Come you broken hearted
See the heart of your God
For I too have been smothered
In a sea of solitude
Let the Hand of your God
Restore, renew and embrace you
Come you misunderstood
Hear the words of your God
For I too have poured out myself with eager words
Only to be scorned, ignored and forgotten
But only My words bring life
Speak them, use them, live them out
I will remember honor and cherish you

I was as nothing too
For I was hated, despised and rejected
My purse and possessions echoed like the hollow caves
In the depths of the earth
But those who do not have my riches

My riches come from knowing Me

110) How To Get Closer to God
God welcomes us and always wants us to be closer to Him. He loves the humble and resists the proud. Prayer is not to change God’s mind but to know His mind.
God resists the grumbler, but He welcomes the worshipper. It’s all about God’s glory, and not about yours.
Build His kingdom every day, not yours. This is done by helping other people reach their goals or find their dreams. Do little things with great love towards every person. Ask God for the ability to enjoy Him.
God honors others more who love Him and not just serve Him. Your plans are always too little; His plans are always bigger and better.
God honors obedience to Him more than hard work. Receive, receive, receive from Him. We do this by discovering our own poverty and need.
God does not grow tired of giving to you, forgiving you or loving you. Thank God that you are His prize possession and treat others in the same way.
