IF YOU ONLY KNEW
If you only knew how much I loved you, your heart would shatter like the most fragile crystal at the overwhelming thought. Your eyes would cry the tears of a mighty waterfall with relief and joy. Your legs would wobble and topple to the floor at the thought of My love for you.
My thoughts of you could not be numbered by all the grains of sand in every desert. Your ears would long every second to hear My songs of precious love for you. Your feet would stop wandering and run directly to Me every day. Your hands would continually clap with praise for what I have done for you throughout time.
If you only knew, you would be consumed with joy, wonder and awe about how I feel about just you. If you only knew.

THE GIFT OF DESPERATION
(Acts 27:22-25; John 20:11-17; Matthew 8:23-26)
The funny thing about the gift of desperation is that no one wants it. It is my opinion that desperation is one of the Lord’s greatest gifts. Our heavenly Father, out of His great love for us, expressed what desperation would be to us, when He saw the consequences of our sin.
We were in such a desperate condition, although we did not know it, that He sent His only son Jesus Christ to die for us and bring us eternal life. It was a mighty act of complete love. This becomes even more amazing when we realize that God does not need us, but passionately extends His salvation to us.
Yes, our sins were so terrible, that He had to give up what was most precious to Him, to save us, from the consequences of hell and eternal damnation. Our Father, saw our desperate state, and foresaw the consequences of our not having a relationship with Him, and His son Jesus Christ, in the power of the Holy Spirit. The joys of heaven, and eternal life, are so incredible, that our Father in heaven, wanted us to see how deeply He loved us (read more)
